Activity

Settings › Activity is the server's log of who did what, newest first. Refusals are kept too. Only admins and the owner see it.

Reading it

The page shows the latest 200 entries, each with when, who, what and the outcome: Done, or why it was refused. In a narrow window or on a phone, it's a list instead of a table.

  • A list at the top picks whose entries show: Everyone, or one person, with Solel itself last. It shows once more than one person has done something lately.
  • Everything or Refused picks what shows. Refused shows only the things someone tried and wasn't allowed to do.
  • The same thing done again and again within ten minutes, such as a page checking back, reads as one line with a count.
  • Refresh loads the newest entries.

Things the server did itself show Solel as who did them.

What's recorded

Sign-ins and changes, yours included, so admins can see who did what. That covers, among others:

  • signing in and out, unlocking the screen and signing in to apps
  • people's accounts, passwords and second steps
  • API keys, and devices for private access
  • apps installed, things shared at home and public links made
  • directory sync and joining an organisation
  • snapshots, restores, safe mode, backup settings and how updates arrive
  • Terminal: changes, sessions opened and ended, and recordings watched

What you open, and what you say to Jethro, isn't recorded. See Privacy.

An API key with permission to read the activity log can read it too. See API keys.
