Albums
Albums put photos together for a trip, a party or a person. A photo can be in as many albums as you like, and it stays in your library whichever albums it's in.
Make an album
- Open Albums and press New album.
- Give it a name, then press Create.
To start from photos you already have:
- Press Select and pick the photos.
- Press Add to album, then choose an album, or press New album to make one with them in it.
To add photos from your device straight into an album, open the album and press Add photos.
Share an album
- Open the album and press Share.
- Beside each person, choose Can view or Can add photos.
- Press Share.
People you share with find the album under Shared with you in Albums, and its photos in Shared with me. They see new photos as they're added. With Can add photos, they can add photos from their own library and take out the ones they added. What they add stays in their library, not yours.
You can share with anyone in your household. To stop sharing with someone, open Share again and choose Not shared.
Change or delete an album
Open the album's menu (the three dots at the top) to Rename it or Delete album. Deleting an album doesn't delete its photos. They stay in your library, and anyone it was shared with loses the album.
To take photos out of an album, select them and press Remove from album.
Leave an album
If someone shared an album with you, choose Leave album from its menu. It stops showing up for you, and photos you added to it stay in your library. Its owner can share it with you again.
