Group chats
A group chat has up to four Sols in one conversation. This page covers starting one, who answers, and handing a chat over to another Sol.
Start a group chat
- Open a chat with one Sol.
- Choose Add a Sol and pick another. Your own Sols are listed first, then the ready-made ones.
Once you're in a group chat, you can bring in more from the message box: type @, or use the @ button, and pick one. The chat's own Sols are listed first, then your other Sols and the ready-made ones, which join when picked.
Who answers
- The Sols you @mention answer, in the order you mention them.
- When you mention nobody, the chat's lead answers.
- A Sol that mentions another asks it in. After three turns in a row between them, the chat asks you: Let them, or That's enough.
Each reply says why that Sol answered: it's the lead, it's answering your @mention, or another Sol asked it. The live face follows whoever is answering. On a phone, the chat's faces sit in a row above it, and tapping one opens it big.
Change who's in it
Under In this chat, pick a Sol to:
- make it the lead
- chat with it alone
- open its settings
- take it out of the chat.
The More menu renames or deletes the group chat.
Handing a chat over
A Sol can offer to hand the chat to another Sol. Hand over opens that Sol's own chat, which starts with the handover note and nothing else from the group. Keep it here leaves things as they are.
Memory in a group chat
Each Sol answers in its own conversation for the group chat, so what it remembers stays its own. Sols ask you things in words here, since the question card doesn't show in a group chat.
